My biggest notes (because everyone is asking):

    1. Could have landed the plane a little better with the ending 😬 a little lackluster
    2. Can we please go back to practical effects for sci-fi creatures and monsters?! I just miss it!!

Other than those two things I had a lot of fun with this movie. The story was unique, the design of the creatures and monsters was great, Miles is the best, and the action sequences were WONDERFUL. I also enjoyed the pacing of this movie. Zero fat on communicating exposition. Love that. Very fun, not going to change your life.

Turned me on more than Babygirl.

Joke's aside, what a wild, creepy ride. Eggers imagery is just enough for me to go to any of his movies, and this doesn't disappoint. Definitely heavy on the melodrama but that's the only way to carry out a vampire story. Very fun. Talented cast.

What a wonderful movie. Extremely heartwarming. I LOVED the use of humor throughout the entire movie. Made the story even more impactful, heartbreaking, and inspiring. Definitely worth the watch.
Also, majority of the actors are playing themselves. So these are actually men who were incarcerated and went through the Rehabilitation Through the Arts program. Inspiring performances.

    Austin Butler is so pretty.
I could watch Tom Hardy in anything.
Jodie Cromer continues to be entertaining in everything I see her in.
If you love the oh so sexy sound of an engine rev and a dirty James Dean aesthetic you'll have fun at this movie. But it won't leave a lasting impact.
