My biggest notes (because everyone is asking):
1. Could have landed the plane a little better with the ending 😬 a little lackluster
2. Can we please go back to practical effects for sci-fi creatures and monsters?! I just miss it!!Other than those two things I had a lot of fun with this movie. The story was unique, the design of the creatures and monsters was great, Miles is the best, and the action sequences were WONDERFUL. I also enjoyed the pacing of this movie. Zero fat on communicating exposition. Love that. Very fun, not going to change your life.

Turned me on more than Babygirl.
Joke's aside, what a wild, creepy ride. Eggers imagery is just enough for me to go to any of his movies, and this doesn't disappoint. Definitely heavy on the melodrama but that's the only way to carry out a vampire story. Very fun. Talented cast.
