  I loved the buildup and impending dread but the conclusion left something to be desired. Tilda Swinton’s performance is legendary.

  Day 1 of making the most of my Prime Video free trial: The Crow

  Okay I actually quite liked this.

  On the surface this film has everything I enjoy in life- gothic imagery, extremely dramatic action-packed comic book adaptations, sexy men with long hair, a bangin soundtrack, and the year 1994 in general. 

  There are so many B-movie quirks that really elevated the entertainment factor, like little one-off lines and facial expressions that gave the film a unique charm I really appreciate. 

  I could see myself returning to this again, and I’m intrigued to see the new adaptation coming out this month.
