i was reading “naked lunch” thinking, how tf was this adapted into a movie? and was surprised to find out that this really wasn’t one, but was another surreal semi-biographical depiction of william burroughs life. like Queer but with considerably less yearning and much more insects. the effects, costumes and sets are incredible and peter weller is the splitting image of burroughs. the score, as i expected, stole the show for me. a collaboration between two of my most respected…
