This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I went into this film really thinking id love it and I would be telling my friends to go watch it. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
At the beginning I was hooked the acting was good, the dialogue was so awkward and uncomfortable which was very relatable to being 13.

I use to watch this movie every night before bed. It terrified so much but I still watched it as a comfort movie. This has probably psychologically changed me in a way that needs to be studied.

The Neon Demon 2016
This movie is such a let down. I was excited to watch it as it had a cool cast and it seemed interesting but it’s just ended up being really slow paced with a lot of unnecessary scenes that didn’t add anything to the plot. It was trying way too hard to be mysterious but just ended up being confusing and boring. It’s also very obvious that this was a man writing a movie about women’s issues that he can’t relate to.
