Kino!
Very unnerving and does a great job of building tension and dread, notably in the scenes building up to and at Castle Orlok.
Every iteration of the Dracula story transforms the anxieties which the supernatural terrors in the story are representative of, and Eggers has made a very heart wrenching story here about self loathing and disgust in one's own desires. I think this was communicated very well, as unlike some other Dracula adaptations, Count Orlok is intensely disgusting and evil all throughout.
My new favorite Eggers film!
Very cool very swag i like it

Thought the movie was good, but I wished that they didn't do a bunch of flashbacks at the end, as I thought it did a good job of leaving hints throughout the movie and it sort of robbed some of my enjoyment at the end. It would also have been very on point and relevant to leave the film without explanations. Still enjoyable/

My favorite part of the film was the mid section where they start working on the Manhattan project at Los Alamos. It felt the most focused and honestly could have been a movie on its own, and maybe it should have been, since it already takes up…

Not impressed unfortunately!
Things i didn't like
The characters didn't really feel all that fleshed out, and none of them were especially likeable. There were multiple threads or hints of possible interesting character stuff but none of it was really developed.
The android character was pretty annoying even before he becomes evil. The mean boy who hates the android is cartoonish an seems like he's there to set up some sort of allegory for oppression along with a scene near…Translated from by
