Why on earth isn't this more popular? For me, this is simply Mario Bava's best film. Perhaps not his greatest achivement, but my favorite nonetheless, a twisted masterpiece of genre filmmaking.

Gillian Hills is a cute bird, but that is just about everything this lackluster spanish giallo has going for itself: her shower scene might be the most thrilling part of the film, and no, there are no blacked gloved killers in this scene. As a matter of fact, you will notice that our assassino doesn't even wear gloves five minutes into the movie. That crazy cat guy though... The plot itself is complicated, but there are not enough gory murders for a giallo fan to care: this is one of those giallos that I won't really remember seeing. For die hard fans only.
