  GOOD MOVIE!!!! crazily anti military/ fascist for a mainstream blockbuster movie. the effects have held up surprisingly well. funny, smart, fun to watch!!!

  beautiful and heartfelt and sweet and weird and amazing!!! i laughed out loud at some parts and teared up at others. and the sets and costuming and makeup and AUGH!!!!!!! i want to live there and i want to pet beast on the head. magic is real and love is weird

  i am literally TRIPLY biased to like this film (rural american horror, leigh whannell, werewolves) and it wasn't even goooood. fun watch, laughably bad acting at times.

  things i liked:
  - cute dad/daughter dynamic
  - beautiful setting
  - the slowly deteriorating change to werewolf
  - SAW REFERENCE!!!!
  -technically well-done practical effects

  things i disliked:
  - weird pacing
  -painfully obvious verbal repetition of the themes
  - shitty werewolf design. sorry but it must be said. no one's ever beating rick baker…
