It was such a precious experience having an overprotective Asian grandma next to me on the plane, feeding me extra food and getting angry at the guy in front of me for reclining 😭 got me emotional man
One of those films where I have no idea what’s going on at anytime ever, but I’m having a fun time.
I approached this one in terms of a viewer, without being too concerned with the films overarching meaning or message. Just allowing myself to get swept along on the wild journey that it takes you on, and I honestly think that was the best way to experience it! I really enjoyed it. It had good pacing, compelling acting, and despite my conscious lack of critical thinking, still made me contemplate its ideals
Motherhood is fucked man. It’s not for the weak, or even the strong. Like throwing yourself against a wave again and again
I felt real empathy for the characters, it was like watching someone desperately tread water and almost drown for 2 hours, what an experience.
