  Frances Ha was so influential they traveled back in time to make this.

  Side note: This got me thinking. I watched Frances Ha shortly after I finished high school when my best friend at the time got a girlfriend  and I remember feeling super shitty about the loss of emotional intimacy we had. I think that's one of the reasons why Frances Ha was such a formative movie for me.

  Idk why this turned into a Frances Ha review.
