fantastic acting from sidney, isaiah, and joan. some of the sounds in the final scene between isaiah and joan werent as good as id hope, but thats my only real complaint. overall deeply uncomfortable to watch. that last shot that goes into the credits was devastating.

i highly recommend watching this on a computer, it immediately had me immersed and terrified. this was the perfect length for me - i watched through my fingers for most of the last 10-ish minutes, and i probably would have gotten too scared and bailed if it had gone on any longer. the use of zoom filters and backgrounds was incredibly creative and produced some great scares.

the commercials for evil dead (2013) scared me so much when i saw them on TV that i would try to physically leave the room before i could see the girl peeking through the basement hatch. that scene and quite a few others still got to me. when i go to sleep tonight, ill definitely be thinking about how glad i am that i dont have any hatches in my floor.
