Watching this movie again, it’s not enough to severely lower the score, but I do wish this movie trusted you enough to remember certain details. It relies way too much on call backs to scenes/dialogue we’ve already seen. It comes across as really condescending and that shit annoys me in any movie.

This is such a delightfully cool movie. It’s very slick in terms of its editing and I love how it chooses to present itself. I adore the harsh branding of the titular Substance and I don’t think I’ve wanted to keep the props in a movie more than this one.
