  Big Fish 2003

  Big Fish has much in common with Forrest Gump in it's zany episodic narrative, I've never been too fond of that structure. That being said, the ending of this movie really pulled the whole film together and turned it around for me. The soft, hazy camera and saturated colors gave the movie a striking, unique look and the Danny Elfman score was a big highlight of the experience.

  Awesome atmosphere and set/costume design that’s wasted on a formulaic story and so-so action. Ron Perlman’s Hellboy is the secret sauce that makes the whole thing work as well as it does.

  “Lady Bird” is a film I’ve been looking forward to seeing ever since it debuted at Telluride Film Festival a few months ago.
