Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024
I don't think this was packed quite the punch that the original did. The original (Tom Hardy) was just such a radically new direction in film and really pioneered. This did a lot of the same things right, and the plot was engaging, but it was never destined to live up to the 2015 film. Would still highly recommend as it was a frenetic, fun, action packed couple hours.

Really liked this. Super original idea and I love creative plots like this. Kristen Stewart was born to play a gun slinging lesbian . And Ed Harris is always an absolute menace on screen. Quality A24 production.

Wildcat 2022
Just bawled my eyes out off and on for the duration of that documentary. What an absolutely beautiful story of redemption. It is a shame that Harry and Samantha had the falling out they did, but this was a documentary, not a sitcom, and life happens. In the end, Samantha’s work has saved hundreds if not thousands of similar animals, and hopefully Harry has healed. This was especially touching to me, as I always dreamed of wildlife and conservation work…

When you enter into this film knowing that it is a musical adaptation of the broadway adaptation of the original movie, it makes watching it a little more palatable. However, it still begs the question of "why was this adaptation necessary in the first place?".
