I can’t believe I let this movie sit on the shelf for 6 years before watching it. Easily one of the most impressive showcases of cinematography I’ve ever seen. Just like many other Quentin Tarantino movies this one is long. Not just in minutes but in development of characters and plot. This one is enjoyable but not one of my faves. Samuel Jackson of course knocks your socks off with his acting and the violence is insane from start to finish. But this movie is missing something. One of my favorite Christopher Nolan films I’ve seen so far. Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman do an amazing job in this elaborate mystery film. Just when you start to feel like the movie is moving a little slow it completely changes course and leaves you thirsting for more.
