  Wish it had more visual and sonic style to it, more of an aesthetic to go with the tone and themes. Not to say it looks or sounds bad, but there's a lot of substance and understated moments and motives that feel a bit let down by the presentation. Otherwise it's a lot of conflict stemming from characters and their inescapable situations which is all I can ask for in a premise like this.

  Apparently Palestinian Egyptian actress May Calamaway was going to have a prominent role in the film, but was almost entirely cut. Can't fucking imagine why that is Ridley "I don't want to cast Mohammad So-and-so in my Egypt movie" Scott. Eat my entire ass

  Also apparently removed a gay scene so 2 for 2 on scumbag tactics
