  Thousands of oil paintings woven together to tell a pointent story of poverty and it’s influence on social function. I was especially impressed by the filmmaking, where they were able to create multiple dancing scenes and combat flow so seamlessly. Also, just thought I’d mention how powerful and moving polish folk music is. Overall a great watch!

  My running theory is that they planned a really great end fight scene then scrambled to make a story around it. The set design, sound design, costumes, and camera work were really great. It’s just that the story is bizarre and nonsensical. It’s campiness was an unintended good time though.
