Requiem for a Dream 2000
Second watch and my god does this portray chaos so well. From the soundtrack to the scenery and cinematography, the timeline of the film and everyone slowly losing colour. This film is amazing and definitely achieves what it sets out to do, while keeping me engaged the whole way through.

On second watch it's a lot more heavy hitting in a way because you always know whats coming next and you spend that extra time looking into the details and emotions that are portrayed within the film and it really just pulls you back a bit. It's quite a sad film and definitely gets you going on an emotional roller coaster with extreme highs at some points in the film and then it has it's gut wrenching lows like the end of the film. This film is amazing and I definitely recommend watching.

Where to begin? Sigh. This movie just felt down right despicable. From the perversion of all the men in this film and the weird porn stories that were being told to the downright disgusting "uncle" and how he wanted to hear about his niece losing her virginity and how it would've been to experience that.
