  There's a lot that could've gone wrong here. Wicked is is a movie adaptation of a stage musical based on a book inspired by a movie based on another book. Add to that the movie trend that started in the 2010s when a lot of mediocre movie musicals came out, focusing on villains' tragic origin stories, often showing them as misunderstood (I'm looking at you, Disney), and you've got a recipe for a movie that could bore me to tears.…

  This is where the liminal spaces trend should've led instead of the backrooms full of lore. Skinamarink is the perfect example of audiovisual hauntology, too tense to be called contemplative despite its slow pace.

  Pastiche al estilo de Tarkovsky que captura bien el ritmo, mas no sus dimensiones. Lo más ingenioso de la película es lo que se separa de esa fórmula: la cuarta pared rompiéndose como el muro de doña Ascen cuando la gente del pueblo decide que le vale madre el guión de Reygadas. Al menos el director (¿o los editores?) lo tomó con humor y decidió dejar esos momentos en el corte final.
