the sincerely, me montage was genuinely the only enjoyable part of watching this film. even though they cut out "the only man that i like is my dad" line </3

the characters lack interpersonal development since they barely talk to each other outside of facing a common threat which makes them feel one dimensional. regardless, it was fun watch with cool monster designs and horror moments sprinkled with unserious silly bits. the movie does a good job at showing the real horror within 15 minutes of it starting: dealing with your horrible relatives during the holidays.

5/5 movie, genuinely the worse film i had ever seen. the singing was offbeat, there are so many plot holes, the ending feels unresolved, the actors sometimes stare into the camera and break the 4th wall for some reason, and the cuts in the movie are awkward. whoever was in charge of the mixing deserves to be fired immediately.
however, all of that endeared to me; this movie is soooooo campy. the aesthetics were somewhere between panic! at the disco's…
