  As someone who is not a part of the queer community, someone who’s had virtually no experience with ball culture, I take a lot of inspiration from this film. I think it teaches you how to not only be comfortable with your manner of self-expression but also how to understand the world through an alternative lens. 

  I see familiar faces and personalities in the subjects of this movie. Like, that’s family. These are, indeed, my sisters. And it’s insane how others fail to see their light and beauty just because they chose a different path.
