  honestly. i wasn’t a huge fan. however i think the symbolism was really interesting. especially with the color red. there were multiple instances in the movie where the symbolism really shined. in my interpretation, red represents control- especially who has “control” in each scene or moment. where i first noticed this was the red scarf- then it clicked. the red lights in the club, the red bedsheets. but who’s control did the red represent? i think it shifted at times-…

  Okay, the more i read crime and punishment, the more i see its modern day, real world applications of ths “ubermench” mentality. someone thinking that they can get away with something. this documentary honestly made me cry so much it was so well done and informational and raised awareness of Laci’s case.
