Pippi on the Run 1970
My friend had been talking about this movie for months and I didn’t get the appeal and had no interest in watching it. Then she strategically popped it in the VCR while I was smoking a joint on her couch to get me to watch it. I was captivated the entire way through. Pippi is an ADHD icon, a chaos agent, a child-god amongst mortals. Watching this movie made me feel like a kid again. The dream logic of the whole thing is so surreal and absurd. People who like this movie watch it over and over again and I feel like I understand why now.
