I fail to see why this movie doesn’t get more recognition than it does. I thought it was beautiful start to finish and inside and out. A lesbian historical fiction with true scientific accuracy, I think this film serves as an interesting insight into what life was like for some notable women in history. Winslet and Ronan have palpable chemistry, and their romance in this film is both unique and beautiful. This was one of my favourite movies in the last decade, and I highly recommend to anyone with an open mind.
