  I feel like this is the type of movie Marilyn always wanted to be in, and still she only got the chance this one time. This movie was like a door through which you could glimpse that alternate career she could have had, but didn't, and I love her and that peek into what she so clearly wanted, and who she clearly was, and wasn't allowed to be, felt very bittersweet and heartwrecking like the montage at the end of La La Land. I'm rambling. I love her and I loved this movie and I hope wherever she is, she knows she is seen.
