it was a good movie! the villain reminded me a lot of the riddler from the batman movie with robert pattinson in the way he was unrelenting in getting what he wanted, so i liked that. the movie reminded me of captain america the winter soldier in some ways. i liked the movie overall, i just wish there was more because it felt… empty in some points. i’d rewatch again.
when i first started watching it, i was like “what in the 1920’s shit is this…?” then it got so fucking good. this movie is a rewatch, sure the cgi and practical effects aren’t as good as they are now but for when it was released? it’s pretty damn good and holds up to the test of time. plus sexy ass hugh jackman and mother kate beckinsale? oh im SAT. i’ll be rewatching trust

i can add this into the ‘DC movie that i enjoyed!’ list (excluding that joss whedon justice league piece of shit movie.)
a long beginning, but it’s crucial to understanding the backstory to black adam. i did enjoy black adam and his ruthlessness when it came to killing, a lot of superheroes and villains tend to hold back and black adam just said “idc this is my movie.” badass daddy.
noah centineo played atom smasher so goofily that i fell…
they fucked in the minivan when the camera panned away. i know this because i was in the minivan with them! we went to paris that day. it was lovely. 100/10
