Being fed up with living as yourself in your own body is such a real feeling that is often inexpressible in words— everyone experiences it at some point in their lives though! I can see a theme parallel between this and ‘I Saw the Tv Glow’— both films explore ideas of transformation vs the actual reality of the matter.
