  This movie is a representative example of why I love horror and what the genre has the potential of saying if delivered right. Throughout this movie, scenes of supernatural terror are balanced against scenes of xenophobia and racism that main characters Bol and Rial, refugees from South Sudan, encounter in their London refuge.

  The assimilation expected of them in the UK is complicated by the memories they carry of their traumatic flight from violence and the death of their child.…
