  THIS is how you do speculative fiction in cinema, bitch. At very least, StBY is incomparable to any other film I've ever seen. It bravely stayed true to itself the entire time, and didn't shy away from asking the audience to suspend disbelief even through some of the wackiest plot twists in recent cinematic memory.

  Highlights: character design (TESSA!), color scheme, soundtrack, and the originality of the idea.
  Shit: the cis-white-neckbeard-guys in my theater who laughed distractingly enough that I was taken out of the moment – fuck you, Patrick, learn some volume control
