This film is extremely mediocre. Everything I want to say about it results in "Well...they do this well but then the rest of the movie is bogged down by this other thing....". I could pick it apart, go through what works and what doesn't, but honestly I wanna move on from this one. Watching these in order means Cars is right after the high of Incredibles and I really felt the fall.

Maaannn this movie is slick. The action is dynamic, the soundtrack is phenomenal, the plot is fast paced and well written. I love the way they used color and lightning in this movie as well. It leans into the superhero themes and tropes in a great way, everything is on it's surface what you would expect from a classic superhero story, but then has a lot of depth beyond that.
