The Brutalist 2024
Brutally disappointing. I came for the outstanding cinematography and stayed for nothing else- they copy/pasted half of the Fountainhead with the same garbled plot, gross misrepresentation of architects, and distractingly poor execution of an otherwise thought-provoking concept for a film. Not to mention using AI in a film about architecture sends a bad message. Felt like the film had too much to say and yet didn't say enough. It's a no from me dawg

I watched half of it with subtitles/no sound over my girlfriend's shoulder on a seven hour plane ride and I still think I got everything out of this film that I would have if I had given it my full attention
