I really loved it and wish if they're going to make new properties for certain series they would take the animated approach. The animation was really well done. I liked that there weren't constant name drops. It felt like its own thing, which is good!

Mufasa: The Lion King 2024

I thought it was enjoyable! My main issue with it is every 20 minutes it was interrupted by timone and pumba to give you a summary of what you had JUST watched happen. It took me out of what would have otherwise been a strong film I think... I think they could have used the present framing just at the beginning and the end, with the voice over. It just got to be a lot to deal with the interruptions. Don't hate tho. I enjoyed all the other parts of the film.
