  Very suspenseful and I liked that the main character made wise choices for the most part. The acting was great however the serial killer reminded me so much of Jason Sudiekus it was almost off-putting!

  Starts out like a typical slasher film but with an interesting setting and premise. Good soundtrack and it was deeply sad in a way that most horror films are not.

  For me, this movie has too much mean spirited killing with no line that isn’t crossed! Also no redeeming message, other than maybe if you are a hard core badass you can possibly survive, otherwise tough luck. But I will give 2 and a half stars for the clown whose physical humor is hilarious and provides much needed comic relief to an otherwise grim, mean, gory and bleak film.

  This mini-series does a better job of building suspense than the newest film remake. Maybe the 3+ hours was necessary to develop the suspense and do a decent job of translating Stephen King’s book onto film. That being said, it still doesn’t quite capture the brilliant terror King created in the book, but I did like it better than the new film. There are some cringey moments that didn’t age well, but overall there are more genuinely scary scenes and a more interesting, if not more satisfying, ending.
