Charles Melton was surprisingly good, but the whole film as such was ... unbearable. The soundtrack was terrible - basically just one awful soap opera track repeated over and over again. Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore can do so much, but you don't see any of it in the film. Basically, the film thinks it is more important than it is. Ugh.

Two people set off on a trip. Only one person comes back. AND THE PERSON IS NOT QUESTIONED BY THE POLICE FOR A SECOND ABOUT WHERE THE OTHER PERSON IS? I'm sorry, but this is driving me crazy.

And sorry that I probably sound like one of the conspiracy theorists, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's still alive and his death was only staged by him and the family.

Being alone has a rhythm, like running. It’s when you stop that you realize how tired you are.

The plot gets worse and worse with every episode and in the end you’re just happy when it finally is over. Why three stars then? Because the actors are so god damn good. Ben Whishaw & Ed Holcroft together are perfection on screen.

Plus Ed‘s character has some pretty emotional and great lines that still haunt me years later.

5 stars for the cast and the characters, 0 stars for the strange and over-the-top plot with all its holes.

Taron Egerton‘s best performance yet. He was magnificent in the last two episodes.
