  Spielberg is the rightful master of the blockbuster-family movie. The Fabelmans is certainly that, but that is to absolutely no discredit.   Limerence of director and color. Romance is slightly dated but that’s not really what you should watch this movie for. You watch The Red Shoes for it’s infatuation with and exploration of the symbolic use of color. This film celebrated the technological advancement of technicolor in a perfect way.
