Takeaway: As an executioner, it can take around 70 years to develop empathy and it manifests in the form of dry heaving.
Heinous murders reflected upon fondly by those who committed them, coupled with the ridiculousness/buffoonery of the main characters, make this play out more like a mockumentary. But it’s not!

To End All War: Oppenheimer & the Atomic Bomb 2023
Though it initially appears to be the documentary partner to Nolan’s Oppenheimer, it provides more insight from people within Oppenheimer’s camp, relatives and relatives of those involved in Trinity, and survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It touches heavily on the moral dichotomy of his creation while avoiding too much speculation about any alternatives. Interesting but obvious in its “made for TV” formula, hitting all the usual suspects of an 8 o’clock special.
