Small Things Like These 2024
Made me cry in a public movie theatre. Cillian Murphy has a gorgeous side profile.
It’s been a couple months but thinking of the scene where he scrubs his hands makes me a bit nauseated.
I think I honestly preferred the movie to the book.

The Hunt 2012
It was interesting to watch the movie from a post-MeToo perspective. These days, when somebody says, “what about false accusations!?”, all I hear is “I am not worth talking to.” The movie is certainly well-made, and I am a huge fan of Mads Mikkelsen. He really shines in films where he sits in warm lighting, quietly watching as people laugh and chat around him. He’s got a contemplative look to him.
