The Help 2011
i love this movie but i wish there were more scenes of the friendship and solidarity between aibileen and minny because those were my favorite parts of the movie. i understand that levity is needed with the heavy subject matter but why couldn't that have come through the joy in their community instead of relying on petty drama between white women or that stupid romance plot. (tbh i do love the window into the social dynamics of rich southern women in the 60s but it ate up too much screentime)
