  That was great. Unsure whether to tone down my praise for the cinematography because having the vatican setting is cheating, but the editing is incredible, mesmerized by the stills-into-active sequences.
  Also Ralph Fiennes damn!!!
  And one of the few movies I really really did not see that twist coming at all. 
  Loved it. Mom fell asleep though

  Tora! Tora! Tora! 1970

  I thought it was really good documentary style attempt to make an unbiased war movie. Some of the action shots are just beautiful - the flight formation shots are gorgeous and the aerial angle replications feel real.
  4/5, i get the criticisms but not everything is a telenovela, and this certainly doesnt even try to be one

  Besides my bias for a samurai film, the writing for this movie is pure. Storytelling at its finest, emotionally captivating, thematically different from any other movie I’ve seen, but executed in a brilliant fashion. Loved it.
