Grosser, scarier, sloppier. I think this movie got more creative with the torture, which is what movies like this and SAW intend to do. Bravo. The story, however, is no longer intriguing. But who cares. If you went to this movie for the plot, then you might as well go to restaurants for the tooth pick.

This movie is a comedic masterpiece of it’s time. This is Groucho and Harpo at their best. The plot was a little confusing but I feel like this kind of farce with rapid nonsense spewing from Groucho’s tongue and a second protagonist that doesn’t speak is inevitably difficult to follow if you really intend to. Because of the way these movies are shot (live), they feel like theater, making the experience completely different than a modern comedy.
