Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood 2019
It’s ridiculous how good this film is. The uniqueness and tone that Tarantino brings to storytelling blends together so well through Rick Daltons climb to relevance through interweaving stories in a not-too-distant alternate universe taking place in the 60’s. Perfect casting and, as usual, a carefully devised time, relevant playlist to keep the movie going at a perfect pace. Could be up for debate whether this is Tarantino’s masterpiece.

Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
Scorsese brings light to the story of the Osage Native Americans and how opportunistic white people leeched their way into the bloodline of these people and took them out like a cancer, one by one. Well written script and it can’t be stated enough how important Scorsese cinematography is to the future of film and how influential it has been for many years. The scene of one of the characters crossing over, might be one of the most quietly brilliant things I’ve ever seen put to film. At 80 years old, Scorsese is still in his prime.
