I appreciated the director going out of his way to show how defiant and resourceful a seemingly basic pop star could be and that they are human and layered despite what they look and act like. At the end I realized I searched and realized that's his racially ambiguous daughter. Pretty Good movie enjoyed the fact that there was no twist until there was but it wasn't a shocking twist something that re-framed everything just added to the thematic storytelling. Weird ending though.

An unbelievably thrilling film that blends action, world building, quick but clear storytelling, and stunning visuals. The pacing creates a sort of "rhythm" that it feels like you are dancing to a disco song not sitting down and watching a movie.
An action classic that should be in the pantheon among greats like Die Hard and Terminator 2.

This feels more like a conversation you have with your best friend you haven't seen in a long time. You talk about random things science, girls, politics, and movies, and it all means nothing in the end but you still had fun. Less interesting than reading a novel or writing a well-thought-out essay but you had fun anyways.
