Annihilation 2018
So the book is one of my fave books of all time. The movie is a great translation of the vibe, aesthetics, and mystery. And I love the horror elements of the movie and the context of the past that doesn’t come up until the later books. But I think the plot and the biologist in the book are sooooo much more interesting. And even Area X feels more alive in the book, its own character instead of the uncanny…
