  This is the only noir or neo-noir movie I love—or really even like. But damn, I love it so much. Is it because my bar is so low?   Made me think and held my attention, but what does it mean? There are a few nebulous themes floating around, but it doesn't make any real statements that I could discern. Reviewers seem to think it's Lanthimos trying to prove he's still weird; I can't really disagree with that. The acting is very good.
