Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
There are exactly zero reasons this movie needs to be over 3 hours long. The action sequence towards the end was sweet but the blue guys are still too Jar Jar Binksian for me. My favorite part was when Chris leaned over and whispered, “Before I die, I’m gonna fuck me a fish.”
I didn’t remember a thing about the first one but this movie is so long and mostly boring that I decided it’s not worth caring. Nothing happens in these movies! It’s just James Cameron making Kate Winslet hold her breath for 7 minutes. And I guess making Sigourney Weaver a teenager? Who cares
