rewatched this (theatrical cut) on the 45th anniversary alien day screening in theatres after seeing it (director's cut) for the first time at home a few months ago and watching it on the big screen was so sick. had no idea there were different cuts of the film and only figured that out aft realising some stuff was different and the cocoon scene wasnt shown I half thought I was tripping throughout the movie and rmbring scenes wrongly.
