The Brutalist is an impressively envisioned cinematic experience—epic in scope, visually dazzling, and elevated by a haunting score and striking cinematography. Adrien Brody delivers a standout performance, fully deserving of all the accolades he has received for the film.

The first act is compelling, drawing me in with its strong narrative foundation. However, the film becomes increasingly messy in its second half, losing my interest as I struggled to sympathize with the characters. Instead, I found myself more invested in…

I commend Martin Campbell, a director who has repeatedly proven his ability to craft great action films when given the proper resources. Unfortunately, here, he wasn’t provided with enough budget to deliver a proper spin on Die Hard.

65 is a derivative sci-fi action drama. Its premise is: what if a ship from an alien civilization crashed on earth 65m years ago while dinosaurs roamed the earth. It's an interesting survival story that borrows from Alien, Jurassic Park, and other pop culture classics. There is also a certain urgency to the ticking clock of the film (beside not being eaten by, you know, dinosaurs). It's a perfectly fine film that has some solid jump scares, and with 93 min runtime, it doesn't overstay its welcome.

A bloody and stylized Western with a predictable plot but great characters. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel—think of it as a lesser True Grit—but it’s engaging and beautifully shot. The pacing lags a bit at times, but the film never becomes boring, thanks to an electrifying performance by Juliette Lewis, who is both terrifying and mesmerizing. And, of course, there's the always fantastic Peter Dinklage, who brings his usual commanding presence to the screen. Levon Hawke (son of Ethan Hawke…
