The first movie felt genuine and full of heart, this one doesn’t. This was weighed down by the pressure of topping the prequel that most of the scenes are purely fan service.
The lines are too scripted and unnatural, the supporting characters are just plain bad. Joy and Ethan’s love story doesn’t feel inspired, and the choices they made are out of character.
Idk why the writers/ director had to go this way, I feel like there’s so much more potential and heartfelt stories to be told about OFWs and a person being your home!!!
