  i walked in thinking i'd give this 5 stars so maybe my expectations were a little high... the characters have little substance and were absolutely insufferable at the start (they did grow on me though!) and i feel like there were still some loose ends when it finished. i did get a decent laugh out of it and i enjoyed the jazz, but overall this film didn't meet my expectations.
