  actually avoided dune bc i was told it was boring. but yo i dig this. its like watching a nature documentary. slow, exotic, immersive and you're accompanied by a guide so you don't get lost in the lore. although somehow its hard to root for the subject. personally had to draw from other experiences to bridge that connection.

  anyway i just know the source material carried bc such enthralling universe. it's like a brooding star wars doubled down on politics.…
