  Low-key did not expect this to be so damn freaky. Lilly’s performance and accent was actually pretty impressive as I haven’t seen many of the films she’s been in. I really like how Robert Eggers keeps the original plot and storyline of the original film, but also adds his own dark twist to it which makes it a lot more intriguing.

  The first time I watched this movie I was 13 and had no clue of what was going on. I didn’t even understand the ending lol. Watching it back as an 18 year old I finally get it. This movie is actually really heartbreaking if you think about it. Reminds me of my bi polar mother I can’t lie…… anyways. I think the whole “organ trading” thing was really weird and I think they could’ve made it more scary. And in terms of the writing, I mean it’s not great.
